Detailed Itinerary Day Wise

Day 1 : Bangkok-Ayutthaya-Sukhothai

After breakfast you leave Bangkok by bus to the north. The first stop you make in the former capital of Siam, Ayutthaya, the 1776 was destroyed by the Burmese. The many temple ruins suggest the former importance of the town. Of particular interest is the large viharn Phra Mongkol Bobitr Statue. After sightseeing drive to Sukothai. Overnight stay.

Day 2 : Sukhothai-Chiang Mai

Breakfast. Visit the historical park of Sukhothai. Particularly impressive are the temple ruins from the 13th century. The Wat Mahathat is considered the most magical and spiritual center of the kingdom, and Wat Sri Chum in the temple is one of the largest seated Buddha statues in the country. Sukhothai was also the first capital of the kingdom of Siam and is considered the cradle of Thai culture. Day 4 : Chiang Mai-Elephants

Today you will visit an elephant camp, which is located just outside of Chiang Mai. Here you will be brought near the daily work of the elephant in the jungle, as well as demonstrated the training of young elephants. Then you have the possibility (surcharge / approximately THB 1,400.00 per person) to reserve a ride with the elephant through the jungle with a bamboo-raft trip followed with your tour guide. In the afternoon return to Chiang Mai and time the city on your own explore on Evening should attend a Kantoke dinner with classic dishes and dances from northern Thailand, or visit the famous Night Bazaar.

Day 5 : Chiang Mai-Lamphun-Phitsanulok

Today you will leave Chiang Mai and Lampoon’s first goal for the day with probably the most beautiful monastery complex from the period of Mon – kingdom, Wat Phra That Haripoonchai. The the river facing temple complex is one of the most revered in Thailand because its buildings partly even from the 9th century.  Proceed in southern direction with stop in Lampang, Lampang Luang at the Emerald Buddha. Afterwards drive to the provincial capital Phitsanulok. Overnight in Phitsanulok.

Day 6 : Phitsanulok-Lopburi-Bangkok

Breakfast. Visit the famous Wat Phra Sri Mahathat from the 13th century, with the imposing “Buddha Chinnaraj”.  Afterwards drive via Lopburi and visit the monkey temple. In Saraburi we stop again briefly to the Phra Buddhabath to visit an alleged footprint of Religions Shifters Buddha. End the tour at Suvarnnabhumi Airport (BKK) or at the Bangkok hotel booked.
